ABOUT

In every task, every assignment, every job, every prompt, is a chance for personal development. The fruits for doing so are limitless passion and creativity! Not to mention, the rewards for overcoming this task become all the more meaningful. Before going to SCAD, I was a self-taught artist. My inspirations of obscure, lesser known, high quality Japanese works, gave me a style of my own. That being, a style focused on introspection, personal development, and curiosity for the true nature of the world outside of my own perspective. Every story became a question, a debate, an equation for me to solve. One that I could not do on my own.

During my time at the Savannah College of Art and Design, my tastes and style were finally given the foundations and techniques to flourish. On top of that, the skills to collaborate, express my brand, and put my art out there. From here, I developed a skill I believe is instrumental to success—control over perfectionism.

Anyone can iterate given enough time, but it will go to waste without the ability to work efficiently and deliver the material when needed. Learning quick, and delivering quick are both necessary for a professional creative mindset. My perfect record during my time at SCAD proves my harnessing of these skills. As I write this, I am only in my sophomore year. When I imagine where I will be at the end of my academic journey, I anticipate I will be completely unrecognizable in style and brand. Iteration is my game, and the joy of introspection.
